Lost Audio from 10/16/2021

One of the highest honors I can recall is having bits of 2600 read on "Over the Edge," the radio show that members of Negativland were involved in over at KPFA in Berkeley. This episode aired on June 28, 1990 and featured excerpts from the magazine that they called "2600 news," as well as excerpts from a tape some of us had made called "Eat Chicken and Die," portions of which have aired on WUSB and WBAI. This particular episode was entitled "Over the Phone" and it went well beyond our contributions. They had a ton of great sound and they also had this magical ability to connect with their audience, who never missed a beat when calling in to add their input. This is what radio should be all about.
