The Fifth HOPE, our conference this July in midtown Manhattan, is rapidly approaching, and we're proud to announce a new feature for the conference: The Fifth HOPE Wiki.

A wiki is a public, collaboratively-editable website. This means that anyone can come into the wiki and add thoughts, information, or other ideas. To participate, you need only to create an account for yourself by using the UserPreferences link at the top right of the page, and then pressing the 'Edit this Page' link which will appear on the bottom of nearly all pages of the wiki. (Some pages, such as the wiki's FrontPage, are locked from public editing, but almost everything is open to the public.)

Currently, the wiki contains sections on nearly all aspects of the planning of the conference itself, as well as some information about travel deals useful if you're coming, or considering coming, from far away. Please also feel free to add anything that you think might be useful to conference attendees. If you need help, the wiki has a built-in help section.

Wikis have a number of other uses. Other famous wikis include Wikipedia and the wiki for the Chaos Communications Camp.
