Ten years ago, we hosted our fourth conference, H2K2, in New York City. Why would a decade old hacker conference be of interest today? For one thing, it's a great time capsule that has never been online before and never available on DVD before now. But mostly, the insights, debates, predictions, and dialogue are pretty amazing and inspirational.

Our keynotes in 2002 were Siva Vaidhyanathan and Aaron McGruder, with extended talks by Jello Biafra and Mark Hosler from Negativland. It was less than a year after 9/11 and the debate was already well underway as to the threats facing our freedom and how best to protect our privacy in the future. Watch discussions on the PATRIOT Act, crypto for the masses, building radio stations, wireless hacking, social engineering, national intelligence, and more.

H2K2 comprises 67 different talks, nearly double what we've already posted from our first three conferences. We've arranged them in the order they were presented, separated into two tracks. Please have fun playing these talks at work, at home, or at any retail outlet that lets you play with computers that are attached to the net. Please help us out by buying DVDs that you're interested in. We can't make them cheaper than $5 each and your support helps propel us forward in getting our entire archive online in a neat and organized manner.
