Yes, this is it. There will be a public hearing next Monday, August 23rd at 9:30 am in New York City at 250 Broadway on the 16th floor. This is a meeting of the Subcommittee on Zoning and Franchise and it's the last one we know of where the issue of Vornado's proposed demolition of the Hotel Pennsylvania will be addressed. (The Hotel Pennsylvania is the home of our biannual HOPE conferences and is host to hundreds of thousands of travelers from around the world each year.)

Upon arrival, you must sign up and wait for your name to be called, at which point you will be given a finite amount of time in which to have your say. You can speak on behalf of those who cannot show up, but be sure to enter that person's name as well when you register.

We realize this is an inconvenient time for most people but overcoming that hardship is key to getting the message out. Please help us spread the word and preserve this important part of our history and our future.
