Payphones of the World

New Providence Island, Bahamas

Note carefully the marine cut plywood. I saw some in free standing booths. There also appear to be two varients of the phone, both built by Northern Telecom, but one say BaTelCo on the top.

The phones accept quarter (Bahamian or American) only. The tones are not masked and are clearly discernable when the money is inserted. The wires were easily accessible on every installation I saw.
