AOL LINKS ITS "KIDS ONLY" SITE TO PORNOGRAPHY

In what is either a massive blunder or some sort of practical joke, America Online has a link in its "Kids Only" section to a pornography site.

The section is described by AOL as "A search engine that links only to sites that are safe for kids." On the same page, the first link is for "100% Girls" which goes to www.100percentgirls.com. Other less controversial links on the page go to such things as "The Yuckiest Site on the Internet," "PBS KIDS," and "Wacky Web Tales."

UPDATE: The site was modified at 11:00 pm ET Sunday and the pornographic link removed.

ADDITIONAL UPDATE: The 100percentgirls.com site now forwards to a catalog of Barbie dolls. Apparently the site was changed in mid-December.
