Last Thursday it was announced that 2600 staffmember ShapeShifter and Ruckus Society activist John Sellers are suing the City of Philadelphia over their arrests last summer at the protests surrounding the Republican National Convention.

Both ShapeShifter and Sellers are suing the city, claiming that it engaged in Unlawful Arrest and Malicious Prosecution when they were accused of being "protest ringleaders." Shapeshifter was acquitted of all charges this past May, and Sellers's charges were thrown out before his trial was to commence last Fall.
