If you have been considering preregistering for the Hackers at Large (HAL 2001) conference through our Internet store, you can relax a little. The deadline for preregistering via credit card is now the 31st of July instead of the 15th. We're extending this because we've received numerous requests from people who are still making their travel plans. We've had a strong response since we started preregistering back in March and it's been getting significantly stronger in recent weeks.

HAL will take place August 10-12 in Holland and is expected to be one of the largest international gatherings of hackers ever.
