We're happy to announce that Steve Wozniak, who helped to shape the very nature of today's computers with his Apple Computer designs, will be the Saturday keynote speaker at The Fifth HOPE this July in New York City.
Wozniak has a long history in Silicon Valley and is respected worldwide as a visionary and philanthropist. He currently runs Wheels of Zeus (wOz) and is on the board of directors of Jacent and Danger, Inc.
The Fifth HOPE takes place from Friday, July 9 through Sunday, July 11 at the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City. Admission for the entire weekend is $50. You can register online through our Internet store.
Rooms can be reserved through the hotel by calling +1 212 736 5000 and asking for the special "Fifth HOPE" rate. You can also search for special deals online - there are many.
This conference marks the 20th anniversary of 2600 Magazine and the 10th anniversary of the first HOPE conference. You can visit our official conference website here.
As previously announced, Kevin Mitnick will be giving the Friday keynote address at the conference. Many more speakers and panels will be announced in the weeks ahead.
Those who wish to submit proposals for talks or panels should do it ASAP by sending mail to email@example.com. Let us know what you want to cover, who you are, what kind of experience you have, and anything you might need to help your presentation. Please allow us a few weeks to let you know if your submission was accepted.
If you'd like to help us make the conference the best yet, send mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us what you'd like to lend a hand with. All four of our previous conferences have been successful primarily because of the efforts of our volunteers.
