"Freedom Downtime," the 2600 Films documentary on the Free Kevin movement, will be shown twice at next weekend's I-CON 20 at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
I-CON is an annual science fiction convention that has become the largest in the northeastern United States. In recent years, considerable time has been devoted to technology and computer hackers.
Show times are Friday at 9 pm in the Javits Lecture Center, Room 102 and Saturday at 6 pm in Harriman Hall, Room 137. There's no discount for people who just want to see the film so you might as well come for the whole conference. There will be plenty of panels on hacker-related issues.
