ANCIENT COMPUTERS NEEDED FOR H2K2
Posted 17 Jun 2002 09:41:47 UTC

The call is out for old, ancient, and obsolete computers to bring to the H2K2 conference July 12-14 in New York.

At H2K2 there will be an entire "neighborhood" in the 35,000 square foot network space dedicated to antique computers and retrocomputing. Attendees are encouraged to bring their Ataris, Commodores, Tandys, Colecos, Altairs, and any other 70's or 80's computer. This will serve as a museum, bazaar, and recreational area with several contests running throughout the conference. We especially encourage bringing hacked and expanded machines. All we ask is that you bring machines that actually turn on and do something.

H2K2 will also have current day systems set up throughout the networking room as well as a massive wireless network that will encompass the entire area.

If you are interested in volunteering or plan to bring large amounts of gear email retro@2600.com.
