DEPOSITIONS TO BE MADE PUBLIC - DISCOVERY HEARING TODAY A hearing was held on Tuesday before Judge Kaplan to determine the extent of public access to hearings and depositions in the DeCSS case. Another hearing on discovery maters will be held at 4:30 this afternoon before Judge Kaplan. |

TRANSCRIPTS RELEASED The court has finally released the recent depositions of MPAA Chief Jack Valenti (taken on 6/6), the two-day deposition of MPAA Anti-Piracy Chief Kenneth Jacobsen (taken on 5/17 and 5/18), as well as the transcripts of last week's hearing on public access to these and other depositions (held on 6/6) and the hearing on discovery issues (held on 6/8). |
