Although we've been publishing 2600 since 1984, our first real cover didn't
appear until we changed formats in 1987. We've had a variety of styles and
transitions since then. We've always tried to have interesting things going
on inside the covers. Some are obvious and some aren't. As this site grows,
we'll be adding explanations of each cover as well as selected highlights
from our past issues.
